Red Buckeye

Red Buckeye is densely branched with arounded crown when in full sun but is less densely branched and its crown is more open and irregular when in the shade. The bark is gray to gray-brown, somewhat rough, and divided into scaly plates, Leaves are palmate with 5 leaflets and are 3-6" long and 1-2" across with serrated margins. Clusters of red flowers appear in the spring.
